Intertitle is a musical project led by Morgan Slade, an artist and musician based in Richmond, Virginia. The project debuted with the release of I on April 2, 2022, featuring tracks like Black Maria and Atelier Populaire, both recorded during an unexpected two week hospital stay. It was followed by IIreleased shortly thereafter. The INTERTITLE EP is a compilation of 6 singles recorded in close proximity, utilizing a combination of electronic and analog instruments, field recordings and phone apps to produce instrumentals that are alternately grooving, meditational and experimental.
