Nan Macmillan Announces Debut FROM BOTH EYES Limited Edition Vinyl Release

“A dazzling work of folk-laced indie pop.” — Glide Magazine

Blank Verse Records is proud to announce the vinyl release of FROM BOTH EYES, the acclaimed anticipated debut full-length from singer-songwriter Nan Macmillan. With poetic clarity and cinematic sound, FROM BOTH EYES explores the emotional polarities of light and shadow, hope and doubt, through a genre-blending palette that spans folk, indie rock, and synth-pop.

Recorded in the solitude of a lakehouse in southwest Virginia, the album was co-produced by Alex Bingham of Hiss Golden Messenger and features performances from a handpicked ensemble of acclaimed collaborators, including Matt McCaughan (Bon Iver) on drums, Tyler Hutcherson on keys, Kim McMasters on electric guitar, and Saman Khoujinian (The Dead Tongues) engineering. This close-knit creative process yielded a collection of songs that are as intimate as they are expansive—each one marked by intricate arrangements, sonic experimentation, and lyrical depth.

FROM BOTH EYES invites listeners to sit with complexity—grief and joy, disillusionment and renewal—without rushing to resolve it. Macmillan’s vocals, warm and clear, act as a guide through an emotional terrain both personal and universal.

The vinyl edition, available now via Blank Verse Records, includes the exclusive bonus track “Flight of the Birds.”

Macmillan’s FROM BOTH EYES marks the arrival of a singular voice—emotionally precise, musically fearless, and wholly original.
