Dreamscent is a band out of Raleigh, North Carolina, and their debut album Burning Days is my first time hearing them. After a couple listens, it stuck with me more than I expected.
The sound sits somewhere between indie rock and that hazy, washed-out style you hear in shoegaze, but it doesn’t feel stuck in one place. There are moments where everything drifts a bit, then suddenly it pulls you into something more direct and grounded. That push and pull kept me interested the whole time. MORE
