NPR - “ (Legacies) the record boasts a sonic maturation that's still firmly anchored by Thibodeau's standout voice and songwriting prowess.”
Under The Radar - “The pandemic forced Thibodeau to slow down, plant deeper roots, and tend to herself. Her newly announced sophomore album Legacies is a product of this reflection, a cinematic existential meditation on the desire to ‘leave things behind that have integrity and meaning’…Thibodeau soundtracks her path of self-discovery with pure alt pop bliss, a powerful meditation on the adventure found in owning your own independence and legacy.”
Paste Magazine - “[Deau Eyes’ 2020 debut] Let It Leave feels like the recorded version of sharing a deep conversation with Thibodeau, as we bask in her skilled storytelling and the emotional release of her songs.”
